'Forgetting' What Made America Great
The 'other' Weekly News Magazine [click to read] talks about dementia, but ignores the most dangerous form of the disease... the propensity of our politcians to forget our roots!
The cause of this disease is often self-inflicted. You begin with an Ivy League education that steeps you in Progressivism but leaves out substantial discussion of our founding documents. You work as a 'community organizer' but never serve in the Military or run a business. Your economic education is largely theoretical and highly steeped in the Keynesian philosophy.
You don't know how jobs are created so you rail against the Chamber of Commerce, forgetting that in a recession the small to medium sized businesess it represents create about 80% of them.
You put down people who live by their Christian or Jewish faith, all the while resenting those who doubt that you are Christian. Your wife babbles something New-agey about prayer circles and 'clean spirits' but you don't understand Grace. You certainly don't show much to those who disagree with your policies.
You claim to want to bring reconciliation but you and your minions drip distain for Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck constantly. Your Vulpephobia [fear of Fox News] is of epic proportions.
You forget, most of all, that America is made up of all those people outside the Beltway and Academia. Those people you relegate to 'flyover country' built this country. They want to be represented. They're coming out to vote this November.
For them, fixing our government is a shovel-ready project.
