NASA Pavilion at the fair reminds me of the Trylon and Perisphere.
Here are some examples of the 'World's Fair Pavilion' models built by my students at The Field School in Crozet. Some of the pavilions were photographed against the sky to create the impression that they were full scale buildings. I came away from this experience pretty impressed with the creative skills of middle school boys!
