Urgent Prayer for Our Nation, May 1st

Prayer Gathering at the Lincoln Memorial

LAUS DEO

"And whereas, it is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history: that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord."

Abraham Lincoln, March 30, 1863

Proclamation appointing a National Day of Prayer and Fasting

May Day 2010 [click to read]. They can tell us the National Day of Prayer is 'unconstitutional' [although that proves they've never read it], they can 'disinvite' Franklin Graham from the Pentagon... but they can't stop us from praying! Consider joining the people praying at the Lincoln Memorial or go to a local meeting but by all means pray as the situation is urgent!
